There are times in our lives when we feel unable to cope. Sometimes it may seem as though there is no clear way through our troubles.
Counselling is a time and space for you to talk to someone impartial and non judgemental, where you will be accepted unconditionally. The outcome is a fresh insight and a deeper understanding of yourself, which will help you make changes, find new solutions and grow in confidence.
Counselling sessions usually last between fifty minutes or an hour and it is best to attend weekly. People often start with six sessions then review the work together and decide if they would like to finish or carry on. The final session is important and it is more complete for both Client and Counsellor to have a good ending rather than just not coming back.
